Kylie is amazing!  We fell in love with her documentary style of photography and she delivered stunning, natural, in-the-moment images of our day. She is very professional and so sweet to deal with, We highly recommend her!

Kate and Shane got married in March on their own country property, which is a beautiful rustic farm home in Hill End. They had their ceremony at Blue Rock Lake, which was the perfect setting. It was a gorgeous day and they got to share their love with close family and friends!

Bridal prep

Kate got ready at their house with her family and beautiful bridesmaids, and the atmosphere was so relaxed. Kate's little man also stole the show with his cute little outfit. The bride then hopped into a light pink classic Holden to get to the ceremony.

The ceremony was a beautiful service in front of The very pretty Blue Rock Lake national park. Surrounded by all of their family and friends. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading. It was so personal and very emotional.

The reception

The reception was at their lovely quaint house on their country property. They chose the venue because it’s their family home and they could totally personalise it. It was a rustic theme wedding, which was full of fun and good music by his friends because Shane is a drummer for a band called Body Jar. I love shooting Country weddings because they’re always just incredible. I also loved that her dogs could also enjoy the reception and Kazan their biggest furball did just that ;).

They had live music in the afternoon, and a homemade bar in the evening. I loved the D.Y.I where Kate and Shane used old wooden pallets and hay bales for the guests to sit on. They decorated the venue with their own funky flowers and a big Jenga for their guests to play with.

For dinner they had an amazing grazing table of fresh organic foods locally sourced, which was absolutely delicious.

The funniest part of the day was the speeches, because it made everyone laugh and also you got to hear how Kate and Shane met and their story.
